Biography

Adrian Siller is the CEO for Sisamex, a world-class manufacturing company of automotive components in Mexico. Sisamex is one of the largest integrated manufacturing facilities for Meritor USA, delivering approximately 40 percent of their truck-components sales in North America. Adrian has more than 32 years of experience in continuous improvement and manufacturing operations of powertrain components for the automotive, recreational, industrial, and agricultural vehicle industries. 

Prior to his current role, Adrian was Sisamex’s operations and supply chain director, ensuring and leading the overall plant targets with the application of a performance management and accountability system as well as applying concepts of safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and people.

Mr. Siller has driven an operational excellence and culture transformation. He is one of the main developers of the Sisamex Excellence System, which is based on the Shingo Model and the Shingo Guiding Principles. He also led the implementation of Sisamex Production System, which is based on the Toyota Production System, creating sustainable work systems that can be improved over time. He also contributed to the design and implementation of the Sisamex Talent System, which is based on self-managed teams, pay-for-knowledge, and reward and recognition.

Mr. Siller currently sits on the board of directors for the Nuevo Leon’s Automotive Cluster, serving mainly in the innovation and industry 4.0 committees since 2019. He has also played an active role in the operations committee and the supply chain committee for more than three years.

Adrian holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering and an MBA from the Monterrey Institute of Technology, receiving the High Performance Academy Award. Mr. Siller was a professor at Jones International University in the MBA program, and throughout his professional career, he has been an instructor for several programs including World Class Manufacturing concepts, Lean Thinking, Continuous Improvement, and Project Management tools.
