Sandrine Garcia has spent the past 28 years in the pharmaceutical industry and is currently the head of the Ipsen Signes manufacturing site in southeast France. Ipsen is dedicated to the production and supply of innovative medicines for patients suffering from cancers and rare diseases worldwide. The site was recognized as a Shingo Prize recipient in 2020 under Ms. Garcia’s direction. 

In her current role, Ms. Garcia leads a collaborative team that is fully engaged in excellence and committed to market supply on time and at best cost, regulatory compliance in all domains, continual technological improvements, employee safety and well-being at work, and sustainability. Ms. Garcia also oversees quality at the site, where she is challenged to ensure GMP compliance with reenforced requirements of major international standards and regulations while building a high-performing team in terms of operational productivity and cost and timeline reduction, as well as fulfilling the site’s ambition of reaching excellence for the benefit of its patients.

She earned a MSBM and a PhD from the Aix-Marseille University.
